Ron, Carole, 'Zoe' & 'Millie' Bloom
We are all thrilled to be involved in our 5th Walkathon in Ft. Myers, Florida!
For those of us who are blessed with good vision, it's hard to imagine the tremendous impact that well trained, loving guide dogs can have on the lives of their human partners.
With guide dogs by their side, people who are blind or visually impaired can get around safely and with confidence. They can now visit with friends and relatives, travel, take college courses, enjoy the theater and even sporting events. For those veterans who have seen too much, a service dog from Southeastern will always have their back.
Did you know that Southeastern Guide Dogs breeds, raises, and trains some of the finest guide dogs in the world? The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs in training is nothing short of miraculous.
When we learned that Southeastern Guide Dogs relies 100% on private donations, receives no government funding, and doesn't charge their students a dime for their services – that's when we decided to participate in their biggest fundraiser of the year: the Walkathon. We have been involved for years and we love walking with all of our friends....two legged and four legged!
Won't you join us in supporting Southeastern Guide Dogs in their mission to raise and train these puppies, and provide such a priceless service to the visually impaired or a veteran? I've set an ambitious Walkathon fundraising goal, and your help means a lot to us – and to the students whose lives are changed forever because of these incredible dogs. Thanks to caring friends who have supported Southeastern Guide Dogs life-changing programs....but so many people still need assistance!
Thank you for your help. Your donations (no donation is too small or too large and tax deductible!) make it possible for these puppies to stay healthy and grow into career dogs of the highest caliber!
Love, licks & wags from your pals!
'Zoe' & 'Millie' .... and huge thanks from our Mom & Dad
