Toni & Eddie Vilella
Southeastern Guide Dogs (SEGD) is a wonderful organization with a simple purpose—to breed, raise, and train smart & loyal guide dogs and provide them at no charge to people who need them.
As volunteer puppy raisers, Eddie and I brought home Finnegan, a 17-week old guide dog puppy. It is hard to believe that it’s been 8 months, but he’s already a year old! He has become such a large part of our family and is such a confident young man. Finn has done an excellent job at conquering basic obedience and training commands, and has been to concerts, baseball games, and even took a vacation to Georgia with us this spring. In just a few months, Finn will return to school to continue training and choose a major.
Being volunteer puppy raisers over this last year has been a fabulous experience! We have learned so much from Finn, and it is so rewarding to be volunteering for such an outstanding organization!
We have set an ambitious Walkathon fundraising goal, and your help means a lot to us. Please reach DEEP into your pockets and help us as we support the SEGD mission to raise and train these puppies and create extraordinary dogs. Your donations make it possible for puppies like Finn to grow into career dogs of the highest caliber and change the lives of others FURever.
Thanks for your help!!!!
