Did you know that Southeastern Guide Dogs breeds, raises, and trains some of the finest guide dogs in the world? The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs in training is nothing short of miraculous.
Southeastern Guide Dogs provides guide dogs to people with visual impairments, veterans with PTSD, and facility therapy dogs that live with staff members and provide comfort at military healthcare facilities. They rely 100% on private donations, receive no government funding, and do not charge their students a dime for their services – knowing this, I decided to participate again in their biggest fundraiser of the year: the Walkathon.
Won't you join me and my boy, Pongo (photo above), in supporting Southeastern Guide Dogs in their mission to raise and train these puppies, and provide such a priceless service to the visually impaired and veterans? I've set an ambitious Walkathon fundraising goal, and your help means a lot to me – and to the students whose lives are changed forever because of these incredible dogs.
*The Walkathon is family & pet friendly - if you'd like to participate, feel free to Join My Team!
