Southeastern Guide Dogs breeds, raises, and trains some of the finest guide dogs and service dogs in the world. The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs in training is nothing short of miraculous. Thanks to the intelligence and fine training of these dogs, people with vision loss and veterans with disabilities find the freedom, confidence, and independence they need. As a volunteer puppy raiser, I am helping Southeastern Guide Dogs fulfill its mission by raising “Skyler” until he is ready to begin his formal training as a guide dog or service dog.
Southeastern Guide Dogs relies 100% on private donations, receives no government funding, and doesn't charge students and veterans for their services. Walkathon is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Southeastern Guide Dogs. Your donation makes it possible for these puppies to stay healthy and grow into dogs of the highest caliber. You are making a difference! “Skyler” and I thank you for your help and support.
P.S. Help break a World Record! At this year’s Walkathon, Southeastern Guide Dogs will attempt to break an existing World Record for the largest gathering of dogs wearing bandanas at a single event. We need you! All you have to do is show up with your dog(s), and they will supply the bandanas. Bring your friends and their dogs and help us break a world record!
